The Raising Digital Competences (digi.komp) project unites the Slovenian partners from Zasavje – Zasavska ljudska univerza (Adult Education Centre of Zasavje Region), Zavod za kulturo Delavski dom Trbovlje (Cultural institution Delavski dom Trbovlje), Knjižnica Toneta Seliškarja Trbovlje (Tone Seliškar Library of Trbovlje) and the Norwegian partner Piksel in the field of education, culture and art. The aim of the project is to develop new practices of teaching and learning for work and life in the field of digital competences and the exhance of knowledge and good practices between Slovenian and Norwegian partners.
The Raising Digital Competences (digi.komp) project transfers the knowledge of digital know-how into everyday life. The target group are educators of all educational institutions of Zasavje; the employees of municipalities and public administration; volunteers and members of NGO’ and other residents of Zasavje region and the interested public at large.
The training of multiplicators will increase the number of people with the know-how; similarly, the knowledge will be passed from teachers to students, which will influence the general population through programmes of multigenerational cooperation. The important goal of the programe is the cooperation between different members in the field of education at the local, regional, and international level and the transfer of knowledge and close cooperation with the institution in Norway.
The Zasavje community and target groups thus receive professional support and mentorship in ensuring digital solutions in the expert field, professional field and everyday life.
In the field of education, the competences of teachers, educators, administrative staff and policy makers will be increased in order to introduce the necessary knowledge for work and life in education of the 21st century.
Through institutional cooperation in education we form a safe, creative, open, interactive, innovative and stimulative learning environment in which modern approaches to teaching and learning are used.
The general public, the NGO’s and public administration are the target of the second package of workshops which are meant to increase the digital competences of organisations and individuals. This package assists the individuals and organisations to:
- better their productivity
- overcome their fear of new technology (from setting the volume on their smart phone to using mobile banks and other apps)
- overcome the stress which is caused by the digital environment
- help people recognize fake news
- overcome their limitations through technology
Raising Digital Competences (digi.komp) project is co-financed by Norway through Norway grants to the amount of 261.055€. The aim of the project is to develop new practices of teaching and learning for work and life and the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the field of furthering the abilities and competences in education.
